As a philanthropic and development organization, Charity Platform has been working for the socio-economic well-being of poor people of the country since 2019. Zakat, sadaqah, and other forms of contributions are the primary sources of financing to undertake different initiatives to benefit underprivileged people. Following are the key initiatives of Charity Platform:

• Shabolombi: it creates sustainable livelihood opportunities for the poor people
• Sushasthya: it offers medical support/assistance to the poor people
• Shishumela biddyaniketon: it creates opportunities for education for the children of low-income families and slum dwellers
• Gyan-alo: it provides financial assistance to the students who are under economic hardship to continue higher education
• Food support: it offers monthly food support to the old, extremely poor, and jobless people
• Emergency and humanitarian assistance: it helps people who become suddenly vulnerable due to several reasons, particularly disaster and debt

Since 2019 we have spent 130 million BDT on improving the quality of life of 60000 poor people through different interventions. All of us need to come forward to create livelihood opportunities and provide education and health services to poor people to create an egalitarian society.
